Woodfield Development has topped out construction on its latest mixed-income housing project in Atlanta’s West End. The project features retail space, live-work units, and public gathering areas.

Woodrow House Tops Out Construction, Begins Pre-Leasing in West End

The Woodrow House project in Atlanta has reached a major construction milestone. The project has reached its structural completion milestone and is now pre-leasing units. The development by Woodfield Development is located along Atlanta Beltline’s Westside Trail in the West End neighborhood.

The project is expected to begin welcoming residents this summer. The townhomes will open in July, while the apartment units will open in September. The leasing of the units is being managed by Gallery Residential.

The project teams include Fortune Johnson (general contractor), Dynamik Design (architect), Krywicki Interior Design, and Kimley-Horn (civil engineering and landscape architecture). The project aims to expand housing access while maintaining strong connections to the surrounding West End community.

Woodrow House is a 325-residential-unit project featuring 66 affordable housing units. The development will also feature more than 12,000 square feet of retail space and dedicated live-work units. The property will include public gathering areas with direct access to the Beltline.

The community will offer studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes. These homes will feature open floor plans, stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit washers and dryers. They will also have private patios or balconies and workspace options for residents.

The community has amenities like a resort-style pool and fitness center for better living. The property will also feature a dog park, pet spa, walking trails, and landscaped outdoor areas.

“Woodrow House is designed to feel connected to the neighborhood and the Beltline,” added Bret Bowden, Director of Development at Woodfield Development. “From its public spaces to its location along the trail, the goal is to create a place that supports how people live, gather, and engage with Atlanta’s Westside.”

What’s Next from the Project

Woodrow House is expected to create more than 900 construction jobs. It will also create additional permanent jobs after completion. Monthly rents are expected to range from $1,300 to $3,000.

The project aims to continue contributing to the area’s economic growth. It will strengthen its long-term vitality, increasing activity in the neighborhood.

Woodrow House marks another major addition to Atlanta’s growing West End community. It is set to become a key part of the neighborhood’s continued growth and revitalization.
