The Atlanta Beltline will mark a major milestone with a ribbon-cutting and groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, October 30. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting for Northwest Trail Segment 5 and a groundbreaking for Segment 4. This event takes place at 1405 Fairmont Ave NW, Atlanta.
Atlanta Beltline Expands Trail Network Connecting Neighborhoods
Atlanta Beltline’s newly opened segment 5 spans 0.8 miles from the northeast corner of Marietta Boulevard and Huff Road to Elaine Avenue. Segment 4 is a stretch of 0.9 miles from English St. NW and Culpepper St. NW.
Together, the two segments will link the Beltline to the Northwest Trail, connecting the Blandtown, Berkeley Park, and Upper Westside neighborhoods. These new trail projects will create a 13-mile continuous trail network in Atlanta.
Event Details
The ceremony for both segments will happen on October 30 from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM at 1405 Fairmont Ave NW in Atlanta.

The site is accessible via MARTA bus route 14, with parking available at Victory Church Midtown (1429 Fairmont Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318). There will be additional street parking available on English St NW.
