Planet Fitness is getting ready to open its doors in Decatur’s Kroger-anchored Belvedere Plaza Shopping Center.
Alder Partners LLC, the location’s franchisee, is looking at a mid-February 2020 completion for the buildout and grand opening, a company spokesperson in an email told What Now Atlanta.
The fitness club is situated in space formerly occupied by Value Village, which has since relocated to an endcap within the same plaza, next door to Dollar Tree.
Planet Fitness nearing its opening in Decatur arrives on the heels of plans for an outpost slated to join Floor & Decor at The Atlantic Shopping Center, a Paces Properties redevelopment project, further in-town on Memorial Drive in Kirkwood.
Alder Partners LLC is behind the Kirkwood location as well.
The “Judgement Free Zone” fitness chain for the casual gym-goer has 12 locations in metro Atlanta.
