Atomic Entertainment’s plans to transform Kirkwood’s Pratt-Pullman Yard into a $100-million-plus redevelopment called “Pullman Yards” materialized Wednesday with the release of project renderings.

Once complete, Pullman Yards will offer a soundstage, boutique hotel, outdoor concert venue, residential, office and coworking space, and an incubator.

The redevelopment would make use of the property’s existing structures, some dating back to as early as 1944.

Permitting is set to begin any day now, and the groundbreaking is slated for June.

In November 2017, the City of Atlanta declared the 27-acre site an historic landmark.

  • Here’s hoping there will be a significant number of affordable apartments—not just “luxury” ones.
