Ambitious residential tower to boast “fully-staffed lobby, lavish resident lounge with private dining room, and sprawling sundeck and outdoor terrace.”

One company is going above and beyond in terms of high end architecture in Atlanta.

The luxury tower planned for 2520 Peachtree in Buckhead is now being called “Emerson” in a press release issued by JPX Works, according to Curbed.

The 44-unit development would sit on a 1.84 acre site, replacing a midcentury condo building on Peachtree Road near Lindbergh Drive, pictured below.

Units are as pricy as you would expect them to be, beginning at $1.8 million. Residents could enjoy a “fully-staffed lobby, lavish resident lounge with private dining room, and sprawling sundeck and outdoor terrace.”

The Emerson will afford its residents more privacy than its glassy appearance may lead one to think. Features will include “expansive” private terraces, glass walls, and private elevators.

The company says that the design of the building is design of the building is an homage to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater house in Pennsylvania.

  • I just snapped a photo of the mid century building on Sunday. It makes me sad that that building is being torn down. All of Atlanta will be glass and steel….this coming from someone who lives in such a place!
