Chops Lobster Bar will join the forthcoming 150-key lifestyle hotel located at Medley, the mixed-use development that has been under development in Johns Creek.

While Medley will officially host its grand opening at the end of October, the forthcoming to-be-named hotel will open in 2028. It will be developed by Mainsail Lodging & Development and will be part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, according to a release.

Operated by Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, Chops Lobster Bar will take an 8,000-square-foot space on the ground floor of the hotel, joining two existing locations for the brand in Buckhead and Boca Raton. The spot serves items such as USDA Prime steaks, Wagyu and Nova Scotia lobster. Chops Lobster Bar will also operate a bar in the hotel lobby.

“Chops Lobster Bar is the ultimate crescendo to Medley’s exceptional food and beverage lineup,” Mark Toro, chief vision officer for Toro Development Company, said in the release. “Having one of the best steakhouses in Atlanta anchoring a hotel that’s part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio underscores our commitment to delivering a hospitality-inspired experience unlike anywhere in the region. Medley will be one-of-one, designed as the Third Place for the Johns Creek community.”

The hotel will also feature 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Restaurants already planning to joining the Medley development in addition to Chops include Rena’s Italian Fishery & Grill, Fogón and Lions, CT Cantina & Taqueria, Northern China Eatery, Playa Bowls, CRÚ Food & Wine Bar, The Nest Cafe, Fadó Irish Pub, Summit Coffee, Tabla, Lily Sushi Bar, Knuckies Hoagies, 26 Thai Kitchen and Bar, Five Daughters Bakery and Minnie Olivia Pizzeria.

Chops Lobster Bar is also heading to Centennial Yards, with an anticipated opening later this year.

“We’re proud to continue Chops Lobster Bar’s legacy at Medley, bringing our exceptional dining experience and signature hospitality to the Johns Creek community,” Niko Karatassos, co-president of Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, said in the release. “Medley reflects the same commitment to quality and service that defines our brand, making it the perfect setting for our fourth location.”
