Spacemax Self Storage this week submitted plans to build its newest facility from the ground up in southeast Atlanta.

The storage center filed a permit application with City of Atlanta to construct its new 95,853-square-foot, three-story location in Custer/McDonough/Guice, at 1291 Moreland Avenue.

An estimated $4,500,000 will be spent building the Spacemax Self Storage building, according to the application.

Spacemax’s facilities offer humidity and temperature control, 24-hour surveillance and controlled access, among other amenities.

Spacemax has a location in North Druid Hills with facilities in Camp Creek, Stone Mountain and Powers Ferry “coming soon,” according to the self-storage business’ website.
