Peachtree Battle Promenade later this year will welcome Georgia’s first StretchLab.

The assisted stretching facility is set to replace Izzy Maternity in Suite A2E, at 2385 Peachtree Road, in mid-to-late July.

Franchisee Rob Robbins, who comes from a background in software sales, started researching fitness franchises more than a year ago.

“It’s going to be unique to the area, complementing nearby fitness concepts including sister brand Club Pilates,” Robbins in a telephone interview told What Now Atlanta.

The Los Angeles-based company offers clients one-on-one assisted stretching sessions with “flexologists” in an open environment.

The Flexologists have backgrounds as personal trainers, chiropractors, massage therapists, and even physical therapists.

“We believe deep stretching empowers your life,” Lou DeFrancisco, president of StretchLab, said in a brand press release.

“After an hour at StretchLab, our clients are able to walk out with more freedom and the ability to perform better during the other 23 hours of the day.”

StretchLab offers 25- and 50-minute sessions available à la carte or as monthly memberships.

Atlanta is not new to assisted stretching chains.

Motion Stretch entered the market last year.
