Pan-Mexican Concept Habaneros Debuts at Spring Quarter Next Week

Habaneros, a Mexican restaurant concept from Louisiana, will open next week. It is opening in Spring Quarter in Midtown Atlanta, marking the first Georgia location for the brand. The restaurant will be located on the ground floor of Sora.
The restaurant will serve Pan-Mexican cuisine inspired by the flavors of Mexico and Latin America. Habaneros will join the growing lineup of the mixed-use development. Spring Quarter features a mix of office, residential, retail, and restaurant space.
“Bringing Habaneros to Spring Quarter is an exciting milestone as we expand into Georgia and introduce our brand to the state and this city that is seeking great food, drinks, and hospitality-driven experiences,” said Omar Lugo, CEO and founder of Habaneros.
Menu, Atmosphere, and Hours

The menu blends traditional Mexican dishes with influences from across Latin America. It combines traditional Mexican flavors with Latin American influences and modern cooking techniques. Some of the featured dishes include Crawfish Nachos, Charred Grilled Octopus, and Enchiladas del Mar (seafood enchiladas).
Menu highlights include Short Rib al Carbon, featuring grilled short ribs, and Rib Eye Poblano. It also includes Rib Eye Poblano, which is ribeye steak paired with poblano peppers. The restaurant offers a selection of handcrafted cocktails, including its signature Chingona Margarita.
Habaneros is designed to offer a vibrant and energetic dining experience. It is inspired by the lively urban restaurants of Mexico. The restaurant’s interior features a striking pyramid-inspired design influenced by Aztec architecture.
The restaurant takes over a 3,900-square-foot space that includes an expansive outdoor patio. An indoor-outdoor bar will serve as a social gathering spot. The layout of the restaurant is intended to feel approachable, lively, and welcoming to customers.
Upon opening, Habaneros will operate from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, it will open from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. On Sundays, it will open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It will also offer brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
