The Mediterranean grill is coming to Decatur mid-December.
Aladdin’s Mediterranean Grill & Deli is moving forward with plans to open in Emory Point.
A building permit application was recently filed with DeKalb County for the forthcoming 3,000-square-foot eatery in the Decatur mixed-use development, at 1568 Avenue Place
Aladdin’s Mediterranean Grill’s new location should open mid-December, owner Imad Nassereddin told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email this week.
“There were many factors as we looked for an additional location which we have been seeking for a few years now,” Nassereddin said.
“The criteria included street-front access as opposed to a shopping center and we wanted an area that appreciates my concept with people looking for healthy, fresh foods. That’s why we chose Emory Point.”
An estimated $600,000 will be spent constructing the Mediterranean grill in Emory Point’s recently-built second phase that sits on the former site of the Emory Inn.
Aladdin’s will open alongside restaurants like BurgerFi, Fresh To Order, Marlow’s Tavern, and Tin Lizzy’s in the mixed-use project.
The Mediterranean grill’s first location opened in 2006 at 8725 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.
And alongside, The General Muir – the best restaurant in the development!
I agree that there are tons of great options at Emory Point AJ! Are you going to try out Aladdin’s as well when it opens?
Yes! I used to eat at the original location, but am now never in that area. Glad to see a new location.
