Lenox Square Mall’s developer files plans for quick-service restaurant.

Lenox Square Mall is getting another new food court tenant.

Simon Properties, the Buckhead mall’s developer, submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta Wednesday for an “interior buildout” in Lenox’s food court for a Charley’s Philly Steaks restaurant.

An estimated $160,000 will be spent on architectural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing work, according to the application.

Charley’s will take a small 570-square-foot space at the mall’s recently renovated food court, joining several new restaurants and retailers at Lenox.

The Lenox Charley’s will be the franchised chain’s tenth Georgia location, according to the restaurant’s website. The chain’s sister concept, Charley’s Grilled Subs, has four Georgia stores.
