Kevin Gillespie on Friday opened the rooftop bar and patio of the chef’s new Cold Beer restaurant.

With the addition of the rooftop, Cold Beer is now fully operational in its nearly 7,000-square-foot, two-story home in the Edge on The Beltline mixed-use.

The restaurant’s main dining area, which includes indoor and outdoor seating downstairs, opened to the public on July 23.

Cold Beer’s partially covered rooftop patio offers seating for 130 including at a bar overlooking the Beltline.

Seating is first-come, first-served, and can be claimed by checking in with the host downstairs.

The menu served on Cold Beer’s rooftop patio is the same as what’s available in the main dining area.
