BJ’s Wholesale Club is bringing its seventh location to the state this year, with plans to open a location at 6201 Watson Blvd in Warner Robins.
Construction began on the location this spring, with a groundbreaking ceremony taking place in April on the 21-acre site, according to the Macon Telegraph. BJ’s Wholesale Club teased the new location on their Facebook page in May with a “coming soon” post.
Based in Massachusetts, BJ’s Wholesale Club operates as a membership warehouse club that sells a variety of products, including groceries, personal care items, electronics, outdoor items and household essentials. Since 1984, it has grown to 255 clubs and 190 BJ’s Gas locations across 21 states, with a strong presence in New England.
Existing BJ’s Wholesale Club locations in Georgia include spots in Conyers, Cumming, East Point, McDonough, Newnan and Woodstock.
The Warner Robins location is expected to open during the fall, according to the BJ’s Wholesale Club website.
