Westside Village is going to get a bit sweeter when CamiCakes opens at the mixed-use development in Atlanta’s Upper Westside.

The cupcake shop is planned for a space at 2250 Marietta Boulevard NE in suite 212. According to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta, the shop will be 1,300 square feet.

Founded by Andra Hall, CamiCakes specializes in gourmet cupcakes for special occasions or for an everyday sweet treat in flavors like blueberry cheesecake, chocolate raspberry almond cream, white chocolate macadamia and more.

“We use the freshest ingredients to create our cupcakes and our delectably smooth buttercream or cream cheese frosting adds the finishing touch,” according to the website.

CamiCakes first began in Jacksonville, Florida, and is now headquartered in Atlanta, with locations at Lenox Square and Cumberland Mall. A location is also planned for McKinney, Texas.

Hall said there will be a better idea within the next few weeks of when the upcoming Upper Westside location is expected to open.
