UPDATE (April 17, 2019): Deep End Officially Closes, Is Called a ‘Very Bad Experiment’ By Property Management

10 Apart Hospitality Group last week filed bankruptcy for its Old Fourth Ward taco joint Deep End, the Atlanta Business Chronicle over the weekend first reported (paywall).

What Now Atlanta (WNA) obtained copies of the Chapter 11 filing.

Deep End, which replaced 4th and Swift at the end of 2017, is the third restaurant from 10 Apart to file for bankruptcy recently.

The hospitality group last year filed Chapter 11 proceedings for The Mercury and The Pinewood.

It’s unclear if the 1970s, Southern California-inspired eatery, at 621 North Avenue NE, will close its doors.

10 Apart was not immediately available when reached by WNA for comment.
