Alpharetta is welcoming a new concept this summer called Fiorenza Italian. Brought by Florence-raised restaurateur Jessi Qilafi, it aims to transport diners to Florence and serve as a neighborhood favorite. The restaurant will feature an upscale yet casual atmosphere that brings food and tradition to the community.

The restaurant will feature Tuscan dishes and house-made pastas. The signature dishes will include Pappardelle al Ragu, Pici Cacio e Pepe, and Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Read more about the opening here.

Dough In The Box Donuts

Dough In The Box Donuts is expanding its footprint with a new opening on the way. This will be the husband-and-wife team Jesus and Dannia Balestena’s fourth location. The new spot will open on Mitchell Street and will serve as a grab-and-go style express store.

PITA Mediterranean Street Food

PITA Mediterranean Street Food is expanding to Roswell this year. Known for its Mediterranean food, the restaurant will open in a 1,200-square-foot space. The restaurant is targeting a late June opening.

The company also plans to expand beyond Georgia with additional locations in the future. The new location will serve gyros, pitas, falafel, bowls, and salads. One can read more about the opening here.

Under Pressure Wine Bar

Under Pressure Wine Bar is opening later this year, bringing a wine-first concept. A local hospitality duo is introducing the concept, focusing on wine pairings with a unique approach. Guests can select their wine first, and chefs will prepare a dish to complement the pairing.

The spot will take over a 2,000-square-foot space that offers indoor and patio seating. It will seat 150 guests in total and offer a wine list anchored by over 1,500 bottles from the cellar. Here are further details about the opening.

Stix & Savor Asian Cuisine

Javarius Gay is opening a new restaurant in Buckhead named Stix & Savor Asian Cuisine. He is known for concepts like Prime on Peachtree, Prime Cigar, and more. The new restaurant will open in an 8,800-square-foot space on Piedmont Road.
