The freestanding Dunkin’ / Baskin-Robbins fronting the Westside Village at Moores Mill mixed-use development is celebrating its grand opening on Friday, March 6.

The quick-service restaurant will offer the first 100 guests free coffee for a year, starting at 5 a.m.

Between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., customers can expect an ice cream showcase and samples through the weekend.

At 2,100-square-feet, the tech-amplified combo restaurant in the Upper Westside includes a cold beverage tap system and an on-the-go drive-thru lane that lets DD Perks® members who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App bypass the ordering lane and head straight into the line for the pickup window, according to a press release.

Dunkin’ has also introduced an area dedicated to mobile pickups.

For all orders placed for pickup inside the restaurant, guests will be able to track the status of their order via a new digital order status board.

Ali Chunara, owner and founder of Chunara Food Group and president of Coffee Cafe Inc., is behind the Upper Westside outpost.

Chunara operates more than 71 quick-service franchises across six brands: Checkers, Church’s Chicken, Dunkin’ / Baskin-Robbins, Popeyes Chicken, and TGIF.

The group recently announced the development of Stoner’s Pizza Joint, a millennial-focused, quick-service pizza franchise joining a Dunkin’ Donuts and Racetrac at The Mix student housing development downtown.

A new Dunkin’ Donuts, operated by the Platinum Donuts LLC franchise group, is also being proposed for Moreland Avenue, south of I-20 in Woodland Hills.
