A local bakery and chocolate company is cooking something up in downtown Atlanta.

Flaky Not Flaky is slated to open this summer at Truist Plaza, a high-rise building at 303 Peachtree Street. It will be located in a 939-square-foot space at the building’s food court, formerly occupied by Canyon Grill.

You may have seen Flaky Not Flaky at farmers markets around Atlanta. The sweet treats can also be ordered online.

Husband-and-wife team Miguel and Anna Caraballo started Flaky Not Flaky in 2021. The company sells a variety of baked goods, including sconuts – a hybrid between a scone and a donut – in flavors like apple crumble, buttermilk maple, lemon curd, strawberry brie and more. They also offer cakes and other chocolate confections like bonbons, bars and truffles.

The upcoming location at Truist Plaza will feature breakfast and lunch items, gelato and coffee from La Colombe.
