Local restaurant FNF Hot Burger is expanding to a new location this summer. It will open a spot at Phipps Plaza, joining the food hall on the first floor.

A spokesperson with the company told What Now Atlanta that they are awaiting final permitting, which will determine the exact opening date. However, they plan to open soon in the new space. A grand opening will take place later this summer.

The brand, helmed by Vic Tran, launched in Decatur in early 2025 and later opened a location at Halidom Eatery food hall in East Atlanta. Tran launched the brand while on the hunt for the perfect spicy smash burger, according to the FNF website. The menu offers smash burgers on soft toasted rolls with caramelized onions, house-made FNF sauce and a proprietary seasoning blend. Customers can choose their level of spice ranging from classic hot smash to Diablo Challenge.

Menu items include classic FNF Hot Burgers, the Ultimate Bacon Smash, the Chili Cheese Smash, the Diablo Smash and the Mushroom N Cheese Smash. Other offerings include hot dogs, catfish sandwiches, chicken sandwiches and fries.
