Food 101, an American eatery in Sandy Springs from Atlanta-based restaurant group 101 Concepts, has shuttered.
The restaurant’s last day in business was Sunday, an announcement taped to the restaurant’s front door indicates.
“Dear guests, we are sad to report that as of today, Monday, March 18, 2019, Food 101 will no longer be open for business,” according to signage.
“We will share more details in the coming days and we encourage you to visit one of our sister concepts.”
101 Concepts has three remaining Atlanta-area brands with a total of six locations, according to its website.
There are four remaining Meehan’s Public House outposts and single Smoke Ring and 101 Steak operations.
The company also owns Restaurant Paradis in Rosemary Beach, Florida.
Food 101 had been in business for more than 19 years, at 4969 Roswell Road #200, in the Belle Isle Square shopping center.
What a shame. Had many wonderful dining experiences at Food 101 back in the day. For those who remember Chef Justin’s original and savory dishes, he is across the street at Southern Bistro.
