Hobnob Neighborhood Tavern will be transforming its Morningside-Lenox Park location into Lazy Llama, a taqueria and cantina concept, Patrick Brooks, HobNob’s Director of Operations, confirmed with What Now Atlanta on a call Friday morning.

“This Sunday is the last day of HobNob service, and after renovations, we’ll reopen on February 26, 2020, as Lazy Llama,” Brooks said.

Established in 2010 in Atlanta’s Morningside-Lenox Park neighborhood near Ansley Mall, HobNob has been a hub for lunch, dinner, happy hours and weekend brunch.

HobNob had recently expanded to open locations in Brookhaven and Dunwoody, with plans to open an OTP outpost in the new Halcyon development in Alpharetta in June 2020, according to Brooks.

Another HobNob location is slated for Atlantic Station in 2021, not too far from the original outpost.

Owner Sean Yeremyan also will debut Cattle Shed Wine & Steak Bar at Halcyon in August 2020, a new concept he and his wife created after visiting Charleston and drawing inspiration from the city’s culinary culture.
