An Indian street food eatery that began in Texas will be making its debut in Georgia later this year.

Desi District is planned for Cumming, according to construction documents. The space is 1,600 square feet.

This will be the brand’s first location in Georgia. “This upcoming cultural hub promises a tantalizing fusion of flavors, colors, and experiences, offering a slice of South Asian essence right in the heart of Atlanta,” reads the website of the upcoming location in the Peach State.

According to the site, locations are also planned for Austin and Prosper, Texas.

The restaurant and market offers “Indian food intertwined with a global approach.” The menu includes kebabs, curry and fusion items like burgers, tacos and pasta.

Desi District can currently be found in Irving, Plano, Little Elm, Frisco and McKinney.
