The ice creamery is making its treats again after a Listeria scare.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams has reopened its Columbus, Ohio, production kitchen after a Listeria scare earlier this year, the company in a press release announced Thursday.

Consequently, Jeni’s will reopen its three Atlanta locations, on the Westside, in Decatur, and Inman Park, at 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, for Memorial Day weekend.

“The support from the community here in Columbus and throughout the country has kept us going these past few weeks,” owner Jeni Britton Bauer said in the release.

“We’re excited to be making ice cream again and can’t wait to share it with everyone.”

The company will also reopen its scoop shops in Ohio, Nashville, Chicago, Charleston, and Los Angeles after issuing a total recall and temporarily shuttering its stores in response to the threat of a Listeria in Jeni’s products.
