A sub franchise is coming to an eastern Georgia city in Columbia County.

Jersey Mike’s is planned for a first-generation tenant space at a new commercial development at 710 Point Bluff Parkway in Harlem, Georgia, according to construction documents. The fast-casual sandwich shop would be nearly 2,000 square feet.

Jersey Mike’s began in New Jersey in 1956 and has since grown to nearly 3,000 locations, including about 120 in Georgia. The menu includes cold and hot subs on freshly baked bread that can be dressed with the brand’s signature “juice,” a red wine vinegar and olive oil blend.

The proposed Harlem location is owned by Greenpoint Subs LLC, which is registered to Jersey Mike’s franchisee Eric Clark.

Construction bids for the new restaurant will be accepted until Dec. 30, 2024.
