King of Pops has opened its expanded Ponce City Market (PCM) space, the homegrown popsicle maker announced in an email this week — and the timing feels “great.”

“Our team has been hard at work opening our beautiful new indoor space at PCM, and it feels like great timing,” according to the email. “There are glimmers of light at the end of this tunnel (260M vaccines administered so far!), and we can finally move towards being more social (and less distanced) again. Let’s celebrate!”

Every Tuesday in May, anyone who shows their COVID-19 vaccination record card (first or second dose) will receive a buy one get one pop at the company’s indoor or outdoor bars at PCM (some restrictions apply.)

The new space — a move announced in fall 2020 — is located in the middle of the food hall below the spiral staircase that leads up to the BeltLine.

King of Pops’ relocation within PCM is one of several changes planned for the mixed-use redevelopment. Its food hall is set for expansion which includes an appetizing lineup of new tenants.
