A new breakfast diner is spinning into coastal Georgia.

The Laundry Diner is coming soon to 1401 Paulsen Street in Savannah.

The Laundry Diner has been in the works since summer 2022. The concept comes from Liz and James Massey, also the team behind several other Savannah-area businesses, including Two Tides Brewing Co., Float Coffee, and Smol Bar.

The new restaurant will be an American diner with all-day breakfast, late-night eats, grocery items, coffee and beer. The executive chef will be Brian Fiasconaro, whose culinary career includes experience at Husk Savannah and The Grey.

The restaurant’s name is a reference to the multistory building’s former life as a laundromat. The building was also featured in the 2022 film Halloween Ends.

During the buildout of the space, The Laundry Diner has been involved with the community through pop-ups at places like Brochu’s Family Tradition, debuting fun twists on breakfast food like sweet and savory waffles.
