Little Alley Steak will finally open its Buckhead doors May 7, a company spokesperson this week told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email.

First announced October 2016, the steakhouse replacing Aja was originally targeting a July 1, 2017, opening.

It’s unclear why the opening has been delayed nearly a year.

The “butcher to table” restaurant in One Alliance Center, at 3500 Lenox Road, is the second Little Alley Steak. Roswell is home to the first.

Little Alley Steak’s interior is made of butcher block wood with track lighting fashioned from meat hooks, and a steel meat hook chandelier (made by hand) hangs from the ceiling.

There is also a floor-to-ceiling wine room.

The outdoor patio is 2,500 square feet with a full outdoor bar, lounge and dining patio, offering the full food menu in the dining section and small bites elsewhere.

Little Alley Steak Buckhead in addition to its grilled meats will offer sides, a charcuterie program, seafood, a wine list with a full decanting service and over 356 bourbon selections.

Parent company F&H Food Trading Group and its co-owners Hicham Azhari and Fikret Kovac are also behind Salt Factory Pub (locations in Roswell, Alpharetta, and Woodstock) and Angus bulls with Meats by Linz in Chicago.
