Mellow Mushroom is set to open this summer at The Boulevard at Grant Park, a luxury apartment community in southeast Atlanta.

The restaurant will be the brand’s first new location in its headquartered city of Atlanta since 2019, and the first full build-out since its sweeping company-wide rebrand. The new model will feature counter-service ordering, improved back-of-house technology, and new menu flavor profiles.

The 3,400-square-foot space will have two outdoor, BeltLine-facing patios. The new location is owned by Home Grown Industries of Georgia, the franchisor of Mellow Mushroom.

Mellow Mushroom is known for hand-tossed, stone-baked pizza, anchored by its “secret dough” recipe. The menu also includes calzones, hoagies, salads and sweets, with gluten-free and vegan options. Specialty cocktails and mocktails, wines and a selection of local beers make up the beverage program.

Founded in Atlanta in 1974, the brand now has more than 160 locations across 16 states.
