Augusta is getting a new restaurant.

The new concept called Rude Boy Deli is planned for 2111 Lumpkin Road. The eatery will serve an array of sandwiches (including reubens, chicken, veggie options and more) alongside sweet treats, all in a space with a retro vibe and “50’s flair.”

“Come visit the life size Betty Boop and grab a shake!” reads the restaurant’s Facebook page, referring to a statue of the famous cartoon character.

Rude Boy Deli is currently undergoing some fixes due to the recent hurricane activity in the area. Photos of the restaurant’s progress show black-and-white checkered floors inside and a patio area outside.

The space used to be occupied by a restaurant called Boudreaux’s Seafood.
