Ponce City Market is welcoming two new Japanese dining concepts this month. The restaurants were created by Atlanta-based chef Sean Park and restaurateur Justin Lim. The openings will expand the food hall’s selection of dining options.
NoriFish and Okiboru Are Opening in Atlanta

NoriFish and Okiboru will open at Ponce City Market‘s Central Food Hall on August 28.
Both restaurants are led by Atlanta-based co-founders Chef Sean Park and restaurateur Justin Lim. Chef Sean Park said the restaurants showcase his team’s interpretation of Japanese cuisine. The concepts combine traditional Japanese techniques with the team’s own takes on sushi, ramen, and tsukemen.
“NoriFish is our expression of sushi, and Okiboru is our take on ramen and tsukemen. We’ve spent years refining both, and we’re excited to finally share them together at Ponce City Market,” said Co-founder and Chef Sean Park.
NoriFish was founded in 2022 and has locations in Buckhead and Sandy Springs. Okiboru was founded in Los Angeles in 2018. It has received a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand designation. It currently has several locations across metro Atlanta and New York and continues to expand.

Ponce City Market has also welcomed several other food and beverage concepts this year. These include Thai street food restaurant Terminal 26, cocktail lounge and listening room La Cueva, and Three Taverns Brewery’s Ponce Brew Terminal.
What to Expect

NoriFish will serve sushi, hand rolls, Japanese small plates, and drinks. The menu will include seafood sourced from Tokyo’s Toyosu Fish Market, with offerings changing based on seasonality and availability.
Okiboru will offer ramen and tsukemen, or dipping noodles. Its menu will include house-made noodles, rich broths, appetizers, and rice dishes. It will also offer cocktails, sake, beer, tea, and other nonalcoholic drinks.
Ponce City Market continues to expand its dining options with the addition of NoriFish and Okiboru.
