Summit Coffee, a North Carolina-based organic coffee roaster and café, plans to expand in Atlanta, opening three locations within two years.

CEO Brian Helfrich told the Atlanta Business Chronicle that the coffee company signed a lease at Medley, a 43-acre mixed-use development in Johns Creek. Summit Coffee will likely open locations near Brookhaven, around Grant Park, Inman Park, or Summerhill, according to Helfrich. The coffee company opened its first Atlanta location in Roswell last year, and its current expansion is part of its ambitious plan to open up at least 19 cafés by 2025.

“Our focus has been to thoughtfully expand opportunities for more customers to interact with Summit, in a way that ensures we’re still delivering a remarkable cafe experience,” Helfrich said in a statement, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle. “We’re now prepared to nearly double our cafe count by growth in markets we’re already in — Charlotte and Atlanta — and a market we’ve long desired to enter in Charleston.”

Summit Coffee, which first opened in Davidson, North Carolina in 1998, imports, roasts, and distributes its coffee nationwide. The Helfrich family bought the business in 2003 and ran the Davidson location until 2015.
