The steakhouse will close its doors after dinner service next Saturday.

Ocean Prime is shuttering its Buckhead location, a manager confirmed in a telephone conversation with What Now Atlanta (WNA) Thursday.

The last day for the 9,706-square-foot steakhouse, at 3102 Piedmont Road, is September 12. Ocean Prime, owned by parent company Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, first opened in 2011.

It’s unclear as to why Ocean Prime is shuttering its Buckhead store. Calls and emails to Cameron Mitchell went unanswered Thursday.

Cameron Mitchell’s portfolio includes The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek, Cameron’s American, Bistro, Cap City Fine Diner & Bar, The Guild House, Hudson 29 Kitchen + Drink, M at Miranova, Martini Modern Italian, Mitchell’s Ocean Club, Molly Woo’s Asian Bistro, The Pearl, and Ocean Prime.

A New York City and Boston Ocean Prime are slated to open later this year, according to the restaurant group’s website.
