Original ChopShop has signed a lease at 10800 Haynes Bridge Rd in Alpharetta, as confirmed to What Now Atlanta by CEO Jason Morgan. The restaurant is currently in the design phase, with Dallas-based architect ID Studio 4 at the helm. They hope to enter the permitting stage in mid-April and open by the end of 2022.

The restaurant will seat a total of 100 people: 75 inside and 25 outside.

This July, Original ChopShop will open its first restaurant in Buckhead — and they anticipate adding at least three locations by the end of 2023. They have their eyes set on expanding in and around Atlanta, including Midtown, West Midtown, Cumberland, Johns Creek, Kennesaw and Windward.

Original ChopShop describes itself as a “neighborhood eatery” that sources nutritious food from whole ingredients. The fast-casual restaurant has been in business since 2013, expanding to 17 locations throughout Arizona and Texas in the last nine years.

Their menu includes salads, sandwiches, breakfast, fresh juices, protein shakes, and superfruit bowls with acai. The biggest sellers are their protein bowls which start at just under 10 dollars.

“We’re a very unique concept,” Morgan said. “I don’t think there’s anyone else doing exactly what we do at the same price point that we’re doing it at.”
