Changes are afoot at a restaurant along the Atlanta BeltLine.
Nina & Rafi, located at 661 Auburn Avenue NE, is changing hands. The restaurant was purchased by Damian Otero of Rreal Tacos who is partnering with Eclipse di Luna.
Nina & Rafi was a pizza restaurant known for its Detroit-style pizza. The 3,800-square-foot restaurant has seating for 100 people and a 16-seat bar.
Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group, Inc. represented the seller in the transaction.
It’s not yet clear if the restaurant will remain Nina & Rafi, become a Rreal Tacos or Eclipse di Luna, or be converted into a new concept entirely.
Eclipse di Luna is a tapas bar and restaurant with locations in Buckhead, Alpharetta and Dunwoody, featuring Latin and Spanish cuisine. Rreal Tacos is a fast-growing Mexican street food chain.
Rreal Tacos is already working on a location on the BeltLine. The brand acquired the space previously occupied by Dos Burros in the Ford Factory Lofts, across from Ponce City Market, last fall. The brand specializes in authentic Mexican cuisine, with a menu of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos and more. They have grown rapidly, acquiring several second-generation restaurant spaces across metro Atlanta.
