Pie Bar is bringing a new cafe location to Westside Market this year, according to a recent permit filing. Owner Dominie Garcia told What Now Atlanta that they are targeting a May opening in the space.

The brand was founded by Lauren and Cody Bolden in 2015. Garcia took over ownership of Pie Bar in October of last year. The brand has three existing locations: Downtown Woodstock, Marietta Square and Kennesaw. The expansion to Westside Market represents a first step toward Garcia’s plan for organic growth for the brand as she seeks to expand Pie Bar’s reach in Atlanta.

Pie Bar offers pies by the slice or whole, including sweet pies such as lemon meringue, apple streusel and peanut butter cream. They also offer take-and-bake savory pies, including chicken pot pie and Shepherd’s pie.

The new location will offer pies alongside espresso beverages. Garcia said that the in-store selection will be limited, but customers will be able to order any pie options ahead for pick-up at the new shop.
