Round Trip Brewing is gearing up to begin construction on the “Upper Westside.”

Atlanta’s latest brewery—Georgia has 69 and counting—will occupy a 27,000-square-foot space, at 1279 Seaboard Industrial Blvd NW.

Craig Mycoskie, a brewing veteran with more than a decade of experience with companies like Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. out of Texas, is the company’s president and head brewer.

“We chose a building that would allow for a great event space, outdoor area, and production environment that can easily expand as we grow,” Mycoskie told What Now Atlanta in an email Wednesday.

“We conducted a city-wide search for nine months before landing at this spot.”

Round Trip will primarily brew “traditional German varieties ‘while pushing the boundaries of those styles,’ Mycoskie told Beer Guys Radio earlier this year.

“Our family is now in the neighborhood and we love seeing the brewery and entertaining community grow with support from the surrounding area.”

Renderings and project specs for Round Trip are still being finalized and Mycoskie is aiming for an early-2020 debut.
