Korean Wives Hospitality Group, the restaurant group behind Suzy Siu’s Baos, Double Dragon, Ramen Station, and Noona, is planning a new concept in East Lake called Salaryman.

It will be situated in the Hosea + 2nd development, replacing the now-shuttered Mary Hoopa’s.

“Salaryman” gets its name from the term used in Japanese culture to describe a “white-collar worker who shows overriding loyalty to the corporation where he works,” Co-Owner Michael Lo in an email Wednesday told What Now Atlanta.

Additional details surrounding Salaryman are scarce as the menu has yet to be finalized.

“We haven’t decided if we are doing Ramen there yet,” Lo said.

The restaurant is currently in permitting with the City of Atlanta and is being handled by Dogwood Restaurant Consulting Group.

Lo and his team will “have more information coming out very soon.”
