Thai Chili has been listed for sale, Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group, Inc., tells What Now Atlanta. Josovitz holds the listing.
Thai Chili has been in business for 26 years, at 2169 Briarcliff Rd NE, according to Josovitz, and could soon change hands for $295,000.
A buyer could keep the concept or convert the 1,700 square-foot turn-key, fully-equipped space into a new restaurant, with the exception of Mexican or Sushi.
Thai Chili is in the Briar Vista Shopping Center in the North Druid Hills neighborhood which is also home to the expanding Red Pepper Taqueria.
In addition to the nearly $300,000 price tag (owner financing available), a buyer would pay $8,000 per month in rent “all in” with “long-term lease with options to renew,” according to the listing.
There’s already a “great staff in place” with a “Thai culinary team available” for the new owner and the sale includes the business, name, and recipes. Not included is “due diligence of books and records.”
The owner’s retirement is “forcing” the sale, according to Josovitz.
ThaiChili Atlanta heading downhill
Food and service substandard and no liquor or beer or wine license.
Too many pen and ink changes on the new menu. One would think the new owner would know how to operate a color printer
Sloppy.
I walked out.
Call me.
