The Consulate replaces Red Apple Cafe at 10 10th Street.

The Consulate, a new restaurant from Honey Bubble owners Douglas Hines and Mei, quietly opened this week in Midtown. Hines confirmed the opening on his personal Facebook page Friday.

What Now Atlanta first reported on the eatery in December of last year.

“India, Japan, London, Kenya, China, Ireland, Brazil and Greece can all be visited in one sitting at The Consulate. The countries and dishes will be in flux weekly, with select staple favorites being permanent,” Hines previously told WNA.

The graphic announces Dim Sum Lunch from 11:30 AM to 3 PM and a Global Tapas Dinner from 5:00 to 11:00 PM.

The Consulate replaces the now-shuttered Red Apple Cafe April 2016.
