Michelin-recognized Tomo Japanese Restaurant is expanding to a second location next year. Tomo Sushi will open in a 2,797-square-foot space in Downtown Alpharetta at 100 N. Main Street, Suite 120, according to co-owner Candi Hoang.
Tomo’s Alpharetta location will feature Japanese dining alongside a refined design, Hoang said via email. They plan to create “an intimate yet contemporary” environment featuring natural materials, warm lighting and refined finishes. The space will center around a premium sushi bar and will also feature an outdoor space inspired by Japanese gardens.
“For us, TOMO has always been about more than the food,” Hoang said. “It is about the ingredients, the craftsmanship, the hospitality and the connection we create with our guests. We are excited to bring that philosophy to Alpharetta and create something special for a new community.”
Signature menu items will include sushi and sashimi, seasonal Japanese dishes and Tomo’s Tableside Omakase experience.
“TOMO’s growth has always been about building something meaningful and lasting,” Hoang said. “As we look ahead, our priority is to grow thoughtfully while preserving the integrity of the experience that our guests know and love.”
Alpharetta is the next step in the brand’s intentional growth, Hoang said.
“Alpharetta represents an important milestone for our brand,” Hoang said. “Our focus is on establishing a strong presence in this new community while continuing to elevate the TOMO experience. Ultimately, we want TOMO to be recognized not simply for its cuisine, but for the craftsmanship, hospitality and lasting memories that define every visit. We are excited about what lies ahead, but we will always prioritize the integrity of the experience over the pace of expansion.”
