Since September, Trina Barnwell and her family have been working towards readying the space at 4489 Highway 20 SE, Suite 2, in Conyers in anticipation of opening the first brick-and-mortar location of their online bakery and café Trina’s Krackers and Soup.

When the café opens in Conyers, it will serve delicious coffee, both hot and cold, as well as the bakery’s signature goods and pastries. Fresh baked bagels in flavors like cinnamon, cranberry orange, and jalapeno will be at the top of the menu, along with donuts, cupcakes, cakes, and butter croissants. All pastries are made in-house using the brand’s original recipes.

Lease intel obtained by What Now Atlanta indicates the retail space in the submarket on the corner of Highway 20 and Oglesby Bridge Road is around 1,400 square-feet. The café shares the shopping center with The Stock Market Country Store, Tavas Pizza, and Sonic Drive-In.

Although the project has been in the works for a few months now, Barnwell says, given the pandemic, she isn’t rushing to open. She is working towards setting up the interior space and plans to open well before the end of the year, although she does not have a set date in mind. And while these plans are even further off, Barnwell says further expansion in the next few years is certainly a possibility.

To learn more about Conyer’s newest café and bakery, find Trina’s Krackers and Soup online. And why wait? You can order up some of those donuts and bagels right this instant.
