Word of Mouth Restaurant’s casual dining concept coming to Brookhaven.
Vero Pizzeria, a casual dining concept from Word Of Mouth Restaurants, will open at 1441 Dresden Drive in Brookhaven on December 8, according to a release.
The eatery will be a sister restaurant of Haven and Valenza, which are located on each side of Vero.
Vero will share its new pizza oven and “dough room”, where guests will be able to watch their pizzas being made, with Valenza.
Chef Matt Swickerath will oversee the kitchen, and patrons will have the option to dine-in, take-out, or order ahead for pickup.
Vero will be open Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings.

I would have like to have see them come to Town Brookhaven … and Slice is right down the street from this new restaurant. And with the closing of the Here to Serve restaurants (Smash, Shucks, Noche), we could use a new restaurant. And yes, I know Newks serves pizza, but … well, not quite the same.
