Wish ATL is closing its boutique in Little Five Points this year. Founder Lauren Amos announced the closure on social media with a farewell message to the Atlanta community. Amos said personal reasons played a major role in the decision.
Wish ATL Is Closing Its Boutique After 22 Years in Business
Wish ATL, a well-known Atlanta boutique is located at 447 Moreland Avenue NE in Atlanta’s Little Five Points community. The closure will mark the end of a 22-year-long chapter in the area’s retail scene.
Founder Lauren Amos announced the closure on social media, thanking the community and Wish ATL staff for their support. The boutique will close permanently on December 28, 2026.
“Thank you, Atlanta. We’ve loved being a part of your story. It’s been an honor to be a part of the Little Five Points community for the last 22 years”, she posted.
Wish ATL became known for limited-edition sneakers, emerging designers, and exclusive fashion. It has collaborated with artists, athletes, musicians, and brands over the years.
According to a report by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the final months are expected to focus on celebrating the boutique’s legacy. The team is also exploring ways to support employees after the closure.

Reason Behind the Closure and Farewell Message
According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution report, a major factor behind the decision was a period of personal loss and reevaluation. Amos’ husband and longtime creative partner, Tyler Clayton, died from lung cancer three years ago. Amos emphasized that Wish is closing by choice and on its own terms, which is something worth celebrating.
In the farewell post, Amos thanks the community for the years of support. She also invites longtime customers to visit the store before its closure.
The closure will end Wish ATL’s more than two-decade presence in Atlanta’s fashion and sneaker scene.
