Dragon Denim Opens Its Brick-and-Mortar Store in Atlanta
Dragon Denim has opened its first brick-and-mortar store on the second floor of the Central Food Hall, next to Rhen’s Nest in Ponce City Market.
The store operates under a short-term lease, an arrangement that Parks said gives the business flexibility as it grows. The store will carry ready-to-wear and custom denim jackets.
“Dragon Denim was born as a creative project that I didn’t expect to grow into a business, so opening our first dedicated storefront is an incredibly meaningful milestone,” said Rayna Lee Parks. “It feels exciting to continue our journey at Ponce City Market, where I started in Citizen Supply with other entrepreneurs, and now have grown into my own space with a short-term lease that allows flexibility as we scale the business.”
Ponce City Market is a mixed-use destination in Atlanta. It features restaurants, retail stores, offices, residences, and public spaces. The destination also helped small businesses grow by providing opportunities to start in shared retail spaces before moving into their own storefronts.

About the Brand
Designer Rayna Lee Parks launched Dragon Denim in 2018. She gained attention online for adding hand-painted artwork to a thrifted denim jacket. Parks later developed the project into a business and sold her designs through Citizen Supply at Ponce City Market.
Dragon Denim describes its approach as slow fashion, with denim jackets featuring decorative and customized details. Its jackets feature details such as lace, embroidery, and printed designs.
Dragon Denim opened its first physical store on September 26 at Ponce City Market in Atlanta, marking the brand’s move from online sales into physical retail.
