The owners of My Friend’s Growler Shop are planning a sister concept — My Friend’s Bottle Shop — for The George.

When The George was first announced, leasing materials showed plans for a “high-end” bottle shop. The exact tenant, however, had not yet been disclosed.

My Friend’s Growler Shop co-owners Camric Shultz and Robert (Hunter) Kent this week filed plans with Fulton County to buildout My Friend’s Bottle Shop in the Urban Realty Partners development.

The 4,300-square-foot package store, at 275 Memorial Drive SE, will be situated in suite A of The George on land where Azar’s package store once sat.

My Friend’s Growler Shop is just down the street, at 415 Memorial Drive SE. The retail store since 2012 offers 40 taps of craft and imported beer that can be taken home in 32 and 64 ounce growlers.

My Friend’s Bottle Shop will join Your Pie and Farm Burger at The George.

Shultz and Kent did not immediately return What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
