Aimee Peterson has plans to open two new Jamba Juice smoothie shops this year.
Peterson filed plans with City of Atlanta for a Chastian Square shopping center location, at 4279 Roswell Road, and is expected to file a permit application for a Jamba Juice in space formerly occupied by Red Mango at 2074 North Decatur Road, near Emory University.
“We picked these locations because there are so many healthy, active things for people to do very close by,” Peterson told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone conversation this week.
Peterson, the wife of former NFL linebacker Julian Peterson, has a deal with Jamba Juice to open four additional outposts of the smoothie shop in the greater metro Atlanta area.
The Buckhead and Decatur Jamba Juices are expected to open in November.
Jamba Juice currently has two Georgia locations in Spelman College and the Atlanta airport, according to the smoothie retailer’s website.
