Grocery chain Lidl has a new location on the way to Douglasville. It will join the Arbor Square shopping center, according to reporting by Business Wire.
“Leasing the largest space to international supermarket giant Lidl brings the area a fresh, accessible and high-quality shopping experience for everyday essentials, positioning the center as a leading retail anchor alongside major brands like HomeGoods and Burlington,” ALTO Real Estate Funds, the owner of Arbor Square, shared in a recent LinkedIn post.
Lidl opened its first location in 1973 in Germany and expanded internationally beginning in the 1990s. The brand expanded to the U.S. in 2017 and now operates in 31 nations. It operates about 200 stores in the U.S. along the East Coast. Lidl has 17 existing stores throughout the Atlanta area.
