A private local fitness studio is relocating.
Fishery Fitness is moving to the Depot District in Lawrenceville at 452 Eaton Street, almost half a mile north from its current location at 132 S Clayton Street. The new studio will be located in a 1,200-square-foot building, according to a building permit application with Gwinnett County.
“This little building was just a dream a year ago, and we are so excited to see it come to life as we work to get it ready to call home,” according to a social media post celebrating Fishery Fitness 2.0.
Chris and Rachel Leon opened Fishery Fitness in 2020. The studio aims to take an integrated approach to wellness, utilizing an infrared sauna, foam rollers, weights, resistance bands and breathing techniques. Visitors have sung the praises of their increased strength and flexibility after exercising at Fishery Fitness.
According to the studio’s website, Chris – born and raised in South Florida – was always interested in fitness, weightlifting in high school, performing with an acrobatics company, and eventually pursuing kinesiology.
