A local retailer known for its wide selection of LEGO products is working on a new retail store in Sharpsburg.

Atlanta Brick Co, along with its sister company Y’allywood Props, is expected to come to 4237 E Highway 34 following the approved rezoning of the property, The Newnan TimesHerald reports. Plans for the site include a 16,000-square-foot building along with parking, according to the news outlet. Future plans could include a 12,000-square-foot building.

Chris Cott and Ed Gaitani launched the company. Atlanta Brick Co. began in Newnan in 2015 as a warehouse with online sales before the owners decided to open it to the public as a storefront. Since then, it has grown into a destination for LEGO lovers. An additional location (Orlando Brick Co) opened in Longwood, Florida, in April 2024.

The store offers new and pre-owned LEGO sets, custom accessories, clothing and gear, and more.

Y’allywood Props, located in the Newnan storefront of Atlanta Brick Co, buys, sells and trades film props and memorabilia.
