Will fitness center plateau after six metro locations?

Orange Theory Fitness is adding mass in Atlanta.

The fitness center has already opened three locations in the greater metro Atlanta area, and is planning to open three more, a spokeswoman told What Now Atlanta Tuesday.

Orange Theory is slated to open a Midtown location in the Metropolis building, at 943 Peachtree Street in January, a Buckhead location, at 3097 Piedmont Road in February, and an Emory location, at 1627 Clifton Road in April, she said.

The studios incorporate treadmill training, indoor rowing and weight training blocks to deliver a workout the business claims to burn calories hours after leaving the studio.

Orange Theory’s existing Atlanta area locations are in West Midtown, Marietta and Sandy Springs.
